PROJECTS OF THE FABF
- Support the operation and development of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Nature Camps
- Introduce and support the Lessons in a Backpack program to elementary schools in the FAB
- Support the use of the Lessons in a Backpack with groups of children visiting Landon Bay
- Celebration of our local cultural heritage by researching and presenting the History of Landon Bay
- Developing trails and building kayaking docks, both of which are distributed throughout the FAB
- Supporting cultural heritage projects such as the building of the diorama at Joel Stone Park
- Supporting school and youth groups visiting L Bay
- Supporting ecological research and understanding through field study, mapping and documentation, from school-age, university and community level efforts, throughout the Frontenac Arch Biosphere
- Supporting the development and publication of educational materials in areas of sustainability, culture, heritage and environment as relates to the Frontenac Arch Biosphere region
- To support development of a Canadian Pilot Project to organize a Youth Climate Summit
